Conference Marks the Beginning Of The Organized Fight

On January 22^nd, a contingent of nationally-renowned constitutionalist voices, legal experts and freedom activists converged on Arlington, Virginia for the acclaimed 3-day Give Me Liberty 2004 conference hosted by We The People.

The primary objectives for the conference were to publicly unveil WTP's strategic initiative to restore Constitutional Order through the exercise and enforcement of the “long-forgotten” 1^st Amendment Right to Petition, and to launch a broad-based, cross-interest discussion on organizing the People to reclaim our fading Freedoms.

The 3-day event aggressively examined the risks our nation faces as a result of the relentless attacks on our Constitution by our own government and those that profit from it, the nature and exercise of the Right to Petition, and the decisive actions the People must now take to reclaim Freedom and restore the Rule of Law to America.

The conference featured a number outstanding oratories on defending freedom and six detailed panel discussions joined by law professors, attorneys, leading freedom organization leaders and national-stature activists exposing the abuses that have withered our Liberty.

The panel discussions covered the areas of unconstitutional gun control, the unconstitutional “Federal” Reserve System”, widespread judicial & prosecutorial misconduct, reclaiming popular sovereignty, the Right to Petition, the rapidly faltering income tax fraud. Other critical topics included father's rights, judicial accountability, Patriot Act abuses, etc. Problems & solutions were explored at length.

Beyond the topical panel discussions, conference attendees experienced a dozen outstanding featured addresses that will be long remembered from freedom leaders including: former U.N. Ambassador Alan Keyes, film producer Aaron Russo, syndicated columnist and author Joseph Sobran, author and commentator Bay Buchanan and Hutton Gibson, father of producer and actor Mel Gibson. These featured speakers spoke on many critical topics including the income tax as a “slave tax”, the role of God in our institutions of government, and how immigration policies are crippling the economic foundation of America.

8 CD-ROMs (or 3 VHS tapes) covering the full three days of proceedings, including the keynote banquet speeches.
