To Get Back to the National Mall From RFK Parking:

Leave the parking lot and look for the Metro (subway) Station Stadium/Armory.

Have at least $2.20 ready to put in the fare machines.  This is the cost to purchase a round trip Metro Ticket between the stadium and the Federal Center Metro stop by the Mall.

The machines require you to put cash in. Please have your money ready to accommodate the large number of people that will be trying to get Metro tickets and get back to the Mall.  As you approach the entry turnstiles you have to insert your ticket by the green light on the front side of the turnstile. Wait a second for your ticket to be processed and the gates will open.  Quickly move through so the next person can get through.

Look for the signs that show routes to the Federal Center.  Take the Metro Red or Blue Line to the Metro stop at Federal Center.

From the Stadium, the Federal Center is the fourth station FOLLOWING these three stops:  Potomac, Eastern Market, Capitol South.

From here you walk north 3 blocks to Independence & 3rd.

The other Metro option is to go to the Smithsonian station which empties out on the Mall and walk east toward the Capitol.

The We The People event stage is at 3rd street on the Mall, right across from the reflecting pool at the steps of the Capitol.

Note; we have made arrangements with Park and Capitol Police for this drive.
HOWEVER, we must obey all traffic signs and  rules.   Do not block any side streets or crosswalks.
