THANK YOU GENE CHAPMAN

We Will Stand With You This Saturday

Gene Chapman is about to pay the ultimate price in defense of the People’s unalienable Right  to Petition the government for a Redress of Grievances and government’s inherent obligation to respond – a Right endowed by the Creator.

Gene Chapman is nearing death -- Saturday will mark the 40th day of his death fast.

Gene Chapman is but one of the thousands of Americans who have supported the People’s Petition for Redress of Grievances regarding the fraudulent origin and illegal enforcement of the federal income tax system. He has added his voice to the voices of  those thousands of free people that have been demanding answers from their servant government.

The Petition process got underway in May of 1999. Since then, tens of thousands of People have joined the Petition process. They have added their voices in support or have otherwise participated.

People everywhere have made donations of time, intellect, legal research, talent or financial resources.

Thousands of people signed the original Remonstrance and have attended one or more of the symposiums and conferences that have been held in Washington DC in support of the Income Tax Petition.

Thousands of people have distributed millions of copies of the USA Today ads and other educational materials that have been developed in support of the People’s Petition for Redress. Thousands of People have participated in the Petition process by attending one or more of the meetings, rallies and marches that have been held in cities throughout America over the last three years.

Thousands of people have joined the We The People Congress and the soon to be activated We The People Legal Defense Association. Thousands of People have also signed one or more of the four new Petitions for Redress that were served on the President and every member of Congress last November. Thousands of others have participated in the process by contacting their elected representatives to urge them to act on the Petition for Redress regarding the income tax.

Finally, hundreds of thousands of People have decided to join and support the Petition process by retaining their tax money until their grievances are redressed: companies have stopped  the practice of withholding the tax from the paychecks of their workers and workers have stopped filing the tax return and paying the tax.

Gene Chapman joins the ranks of many Americans who have spoken up and spoken out, becoming an integral part of the Petition process by questioning the federal individual income tax on its face or in its application: Joseph Banister, Bill Benson, Bill Conklin, Larry Becraft, Devvy Kidd, Charlie Beall, Dick Simkanin, Harold Thomas, Nick Jesson, David Bossett, Al Thompson, Thurston Bell, Chad Prater, Dan Meador, Jeffrey Dickstein, Joe Isen, Robert Bernhoft, Lynn Meredith, Larken Rose, Ed and Liberty Rivera, Lynda Wall, Peymon Mottahedeh, John Turner, Sherry Jackson, Victoria and  Richard Osborne, Roland Croteau, Rose Lear, Robert Lawrence, Joe Sweet, Doug Rosile, Steve Hempfling, Red Beckman, Eddie Kahn, Irwin Schiff, Cindy Neun, Chris Hansen, Phil Hart, John Kotmair, Paul Andrew Mitchell and countless others.

For weeks now, Gene Chapman has been inviting the People to join him every Saturday morning at 10 AM on the corner of Woodward St. and Parker Avenue in downtown Austin – the same corner he has been occupying since sunrise on April 15th.

Last Saturday morning Bob Schulz was in Denver to conduct a seminar as part of Operation Stop Withholding. Just before the start of the workshop, Bob spoke by telephone with Gene who said a local newspaper reporter had shown up to report on Gene’s weekly rally, but had left saying there was no story because only eight people had shown up to support Gene and his quest for answers.

Let’s make sure this does not happen again. Let’s show our support and appreciation for Gene’s heroic stand in defense of Liberty, Truth and Justice. Let’s all go to Austin and stand with Gene Saturday morning.

“I will be with Gene on Saturday,” said Bob Schulz. “I urge everyone to make the sacrifice. Be there. Bring your ‘Live Free or Die’ and ‘Liberty’ flags. Wear your ‘Tyranny Response Team’ windbreakers. Let’s all hold hands and pray for Gene. Let us pray with Gene that our servant government will finally honor its obligation to respond to the People’s Petition for Redress of Grievances regarding the income tax. Let us all pray for the courage of our convictions as we collectively commit to retain our money until these grievances are redressed.”

Gene Chapman has gone the extra mile. His sacrifice must not be in vain. Let’s find our way to Austin next Saturday morning, May 24, 2003.
