WE THE PEOPLE LEGAL DEFENSE ASSOCIATION

The We The People Legal Defense Association will be a non-profit advocacy organization established to protect, preserve and enhance the People’s individual, unalienable Rights, particularly the Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances and the Right of "Redress Before Taxes." Through annual memberships, WTP-LDA will be tens of thousands of individuals, corporations and associations united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.

WTP-LDA will advocate on the legal front by fully representing members at every stage of proceedings. In 2003, we expect thousands of members will receive legal consultation by letter and phone, hundreds more will be represented through negotiations with tax officials, and dozens more represented in court proceedings. WTP-LDA will also take the offensive, filing actions to protect members against government intrusion and to establish legal precedent. On occasion, WTP-LDA will handle precedent-setting cases for non-members, as well.

WTP-LDA will advocate in the media by presenting articulate and knowledgeable spokesmen to the press on the subject of Liberty. WTP-LDA staff members will answer the call for radio, television, and print interviews, and their writings will be published in newspapers and magazines across the country. WTP-LDA will publish a bimonthly magazine, Redress Before Taxes Court Report, which will provide news and commentary on a host of current issues affecting the Right to Petition and the Right of Redress Before Taxes. WTP-LDA will initiate a two-minute daily radio broadcast, "Liberty’s Heartbeat," which we expect to be heard on hundreds of radio stations.

WTP-LDA will advocate for the movement to restore the Constitution. Whether it’s in print, from the podium, or on the air, WTP-LDA will provide insightful vision and leadership for the cause of Redress Before Taxes.
