BE A MEMBER OF THE DELEGATION TO DELIVER
THE INCOME TAX REMONSTRANCE

On November 13, 1999, 59 citizens from 16 states assembled in Washington, DC at the Citizen's summit to End the Illegal Operations of the IRS. At the end of the day, those citizens approved and signed a statement of grievances -- a "Remonstrance" -- which the citizens decided would be delivered on April 13, 2000,, to the leaders of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the federal government. The Remonstrance is strongly condemnatory of the role all three branches have played since 1913 in fostering the income tax charade on the American people.

It was also agreed that the Remonstrance should be delivered on April 13, 2000, by a delegation of two or more citizens from each of the 50 states; that a letter should be sent to the governmental leaders to let them know what time the delegation would be arriving at their offices and to respectfully request that the leaders receive the delegation from the people of America; and, that the Remonstrance should be posted on the internet to give other citizens the opportunity to electronically add their names as signatories.

A letter has been delivered to President Clinton, Senator Lott, Speaker Hastert and Chief Judge Rehnquist.

The Remonstrance has been posted at http://www.givemeliberty.org and is being signed by people from every corner of the country.

The ballroom at the National Press Club in Washington, DC has been reserved for April 13, 2000, from 8-11 am, for the delegation to assemble and to review final arrangements.

It now becomes necessary to begin the process of identifying the delegates for planning purposes as well as for governmental security purposes. With that in mind, we ask all those who want to be one of the delegates from their state to download the Delegate's Personal Commitment Form, fill it out and mail it to We The People, 2458 Ridge Road, Queensbury, NY 12804. Again, we are expecting a delegation of two or more people from each of the 50 states. As we receive each individual form we will post that person’s name and address on the developing list of delegates for all to see.

We hope and pray that many people will give this matter their careful consideration and that they will decide to make the personal and financial sacrifice to join with others on April 13th in defense of our basic rights and the Rule of Law.

Let us use this opportunity to demonstrate that more than cherry blossoms will be blooming on April 13, 2000. Also blooming will be a reawakening in the hearts and minds of the people to the importance of our popular sovereignty, vigilance and the need from time to time to remind those in government that all government in America is limited by written constitutions.
