Read our
Full-Page Ad in Sunday's NY Times
[February 8, 2002]
On Sunday, February 10, 2002, a full-page
ad by the We The People Foundation will appear in the main news (first)
section of the nationwide edition of The New York Times, under the
heading, "IRS and Department of Justice: Why Won't You Answer Our
Questions?"
The ad is intended to educate and inform
hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Americans about the
constitutional crisis that has developed over the government's refusal
to honor its legal and moral obligation to respond to a proper Petition
for Redress of Grievances, which is an unalienable right of the People
guaranteed by the First Amendment.
This is the first time we will have exposure in
the nation's paper of record. Not only will the ad take our Petition for
Redress question to center stage, it will also bring our constitutional
questions regarding the income tax system to center stage.
It should come as no surprise that full-page ads
in the Sunday Times cost a great deal of money. If everyone pitches in
and helps we will easily be able to recover our cost. We need your help
now. Please tell your friends that this is a big moment in our long
struggle for truth and justice.
We can only succeed if we can continue to
educate the millions of people who are not aware of the constitutional
problems surrounding our Petition for a Redress of Grievances regarding
the income tax system.
We're doing everything we can to reach that
goal. Our success continues to depend on concerned citizens like you. If
you would like to make a donation, click
here.
The text and image of the ad
will be posted on our website following publication in the Times -
