Give Me Liberty 2004 Conference: Breaking News

Right-To-Petition Lawsuit To Be Filed Within Hours
Details To Be Disclosed During Live Video Webcast

We The People Foundation announced today that the much-anticipated Right-to-Petition class-action lawsuit will be filed before the opening of the three-day Give Me Liberty 2004 conference that commences this Thursday morning just outside our nation's capitol.

The filing of this action in federal court marks the beginning of what will be a lengthy, and complex legal dispute to resurrect the “long-forgotten” Right of the People to Petition their servant government for redress of their grievances – and the People’s corollary Right to withhold taxes until such redress is secured.

Details of the “RTP” lawsuit and the significant implications for this nation’s future will be discussed at length during the first segment of the GML2004 conference.  Video of the full 3-day conference is being broadcast LIVE over the Internet.

Lead counsel for the lawsuit, Mark Lane, will address the conference during the first scheduled panel discussion Thursday morning and disclose details about the lawsuit, the predicted legal process and the ultimate objectives of the suit.

The nature, application and enforcement of the Right to Petition to restore Constitutional Order and reclaim our republic is the central theme of the conference.  The assembled panels of renowned authors, columnists, attorneys and conservative freedom activists will explore in depth, the use of the Right to Petition to secure redress in response to government infringement and abuse regarding firearms related Rights, due process Rights, judicial/prosecutorial abuse, the income tax fraud, abuses under the “USA Patriot Act” and the monetary/banking fraud of the Federal Reserve.

The conference will also have a segment on the media’s role, responsibilities and failings under the 1st Amendment in securing the Rights of the People.

Featured conference speakers include: former presidential candidate Dr. Alan Keyes, columnist/author Joseph Sobran, producer/director Aaron Russo, Angela “Bay” Buchanan, Joseph Farah (WorldNetDaily.com), Dick Simkanin attorney Arch McColl and many, many others.  The conference runs three days this week, Thursday-Saturday.

The professionally-produced live webcast of the full GML2004 conference will also include incremental “archiving” of each conference segment for (limited) on-demand viewing for those unable to watch the live proceedings.

Each webcast "e-Ticket" will also receive a FREE copy of the broadcast video of the conference on CD-ROMs following the event.
