The U.S. Income Tax System on Trial

Congressionally Sponsored Citizens' Public Hearing
Presented by
We The People Foundation for Constitutional Education, Inc.,

What:
Department of Justice U.S. Assistant Attorney Dan Bryant and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett (MD) signed a written agreement on July 20, 2001, for a recorded public hearing at which DOJ representatives would officially answer specific legal charges challenging the jurisdiction of the IRS and the illegal enforcement of U.S. income tax laws against U.S. citizens. IRS Commissioner Charles Rossotti had committed IRS representatives to participate.

As of January 17th, 2002 the government broke its commitment.

THE TAX  TRIAL PROCEEDED,  WITHOUT THE DOJ or IRS.

When:
Hearing was held for 2 full days, February 27th and 28th, 2002.

Where:
From the Washington Marriott, Washington, D.C.

   Participants:
Tax law researchers, attorneys, former IRS agents, CPAs and others answered legal questions and presented evidence conclusively documenting the total lack of legal authority for the income tax and new evidence showing grossly illegal activity by IRS personnel.  Testimony covered almost 500 legal questions in approximately 10 areas of inquiry (e.g., lack of Jurisdiction, Fraudulent ratification of the 16th Amendment, Tampering with computer accounting records, etc)
