Bartlett's Office:  The Show Will Go On!

"Congressman Bartlett is continuing to actively pursue and secure participation by representatives of both the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service at the September 25-26 forum organized by We the People," said Lisa Wright, a spokesman for Congressman Roscoe Bartlett.  "He expects Dan Bryant, Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legislative Affairs at the Department of Justice, and IRS Chairman Charles Rossotti to fulfill their personal commitments to him."

As scheduled, the hearing will commence on September 25th.  Please make travel plans accordingly.

Preparation Progress

Significant progress is being made.  The inquiry teams and attorneys are well through the first round of organizing materials and evidence to present at the hearing.  The attorneys have planned for several meetings around the country during the next week or so.

Schulz plans to meet with Bartlett's staff again this week.  Preparations for technical details of the webcast and radio broadcast are being worked with the House office building technical and engineering staff.

Webcast Update

If you are not aware, the Webcast and associated recordings of the hearing (VHS, CD-ROM, etc.) are now available for purchase at the WTP on-line webcast page.  Sales continued strongly through the Labor Day weekend.  Late Friday, we arranged for purchase via PayPal and are attempting to arrange for online check processing.   We anticipate that sales of the webcast packages should cover both the fixed costs of producing the webcast and the costs of two days of internet video bandwidth necessary for each live subscriber to the hearing.  Please purchase as early as possible.

Toto Needs Some Help. . . -- click  here --  to See Toto's Donation Flyer

Bob first wants to thank everyone who has supported this incredible effort to date.  We are where we are today because of the significant generosity of a legion of supporters who have seen Bob, unlike so many before him, make rapid, real and demonstrative progress toward exposing this fraud upon the American people.  We are almost there.

Unfortunately, even not-for-profit organizations still have to pay for things -- and this hearing in Washington isn't cheap.  Bob wants everyone to know the scope of the financial commitment being made by the Foundation.  It appears that our projected non-recoverable costs before the hearing may run several hundred thousand dollars.   It is important to know that there are NO paid employees of the We The People Foundation.  All labor, including full time positions and the Chairman (Bob Schulz), are volunteers.  The funds to finance this hearing come 100% from your donations and sales of nominally priced educational products such as the webcast.

Examples of costs we are currently incurring (and need to pay BEFORE the hearing) include:

Weekly payments for several full-time professional attorneys and their support staffs (+ their travel, phone calls, copying, etc.), 20 hours of commercial satellite uplink time,  computer hardware costs for the secured/encrypted server (being used by the tax researchers and attorneys), computer hardware for the hearing, software costs (including network server software, document management software, evidence presentation systems, etc.), video and sound systems, conference calls, telecommunications costs, air/hotel costs for the radio broadcast team, etc.  There will also be significant costs payable to the government to wire the conference room for our technical needs (phone lines, meeting equipment, electrical power, etc.).    There are also costs to advertise the webcast & the free radio broadcast.

Bob also wants everyone to also consider the plight of a number of the tax researchers that cannot afford to bear alone the significant costs that they have incurred while directly supporting the hearing effort this summer (i.e., lost work time, air fares, hotel, etc.).  Many of these people have this year alone already participated in the April IRS walk-around protest in D.C., February's Project Toto conference, and August's hearing strategy meeting in Nevada.  The Foundation helps if (and when) it can -- otherwise everyone strictly pays their own way.  It would be all our loss if we lose the participation of key resources simply for lack of a few dollars.

We again, humbly ask for your continued and timely support so that this organization and the tax researchers can finish the work that was started 25 years ago as these truths began to emerge.

To help in your efforts to spread the word, we have developed a flyer for donations

Please distribute this widely through your contact lists.

As was stated so strongly at the Project Toto conference, we stand at a moment in history where we can  manifest and secure our own future.  All we must do is decide.  For those that have the vision -- September 25th will be one of those precious pages in the history of man where a peaceful, lawful exercise of freedom affected the political and spiritual existence of mankind across this planet.

It requires no giving of life.  It requires no taking of liberty.  It does not require breaking the law.   It does not require you leave your home or family.  It merely requires that those that have heard this call look within -- listen -- and share a small portion of their divine abundance.  Now is the moment that it counts.  If not you, who?  Please help.
