Right To Petition Lawsuit Update:

We Have Passed The 1/3 Mark.
$92,000 Received. Thank You.

We are grateful to all those who have contributed thus far toward the cost of prosecuting the upcoming class action lawsuit against the United States in defense of the unalienable Right to Petition the government for a Redress of Grievances, as guaranteed by the 1st Amendment.

Our purpose with this update is to remind everyone that the Constitution does not, and cannot, defend itself.
Our Republic's founding document sits quietly on book shelves and in museum displays, awaiting those that wish not only to read its historic text, but those that demand to live by, and defend, its guiding principles and gifts of Providence.

The task of defending our Rights, including each of those guaranteed by the Constitution, falls to the responsible citizen, those among the People who are able to distinguish between right and wrong and to think and act rationally.

There is no escaping the fact that each person on American soil, blessed and protected by the essential principles underlying our Constitutional Republic, has a duty to defend each and every one them. We are each responsible, answerable, accountable and liable.

American citizens have a duty to protect their country from their government.

We have only two ways to peaceably hold government accountable to the Constitution when we have evidence that it is infringing on any of our Rights or is otherwise operating outside the boundaries we have drawn around its power: 1) the ballot: and 2) the Petition for Redress of Grievances.

Without the Right to Petition for Redress, we are left with the ballot.

Without the Right to Petition for Redress, individuals and small groups have no way to enforce their Rights, which are not only individual, but unalienable.

Without the Right to Petition for Redress, individuals and small groups of individuals are threatened with the erosion of their Rights, Freedoms and Liberties, simply because the rest of society has no knowledge of infringements or has no interest in protecting against them, preferring, instead, the calm seas of despotism.

Little do they know that an act of tyranny anywhere is a threat to freedom every where.

We respectfully request of everyone that they act immediately in three ways:

1.       Send a donation to WTP so that the lawsuit can commence ASAP, and

2.       Send $25 for SIX copies of our new powerfully written, color corporate brochure to send to your acquaintances with a request that they consider making a (tax-deductible) year-end donation to WTP. You will receive the 6 brochures within three days of your request.  Click here to obtain the brochures from our secure, on-line store, http://www.GiveMeLiberty.org/store/default.htm
or to preview the brochure.

3.       ASAP, please send this message to everyone on your mailing lists.

Thank you very much.
